Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Cider Recipe!

In the mood for a new take on the standard apple cider this Christmas? If so, I recently found this Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Cider Recipe! I haven’t made this drink yet, but it looks fun to make. I’ve never made a apple cider drink in the slow cooker, but it seems easy enough. Plus, the smell of this cider will probably make my home smell wonderful. If this recipe interests you as well be sure to have the following ingredients:

  • 1 liter apple juice, pure unsweetened
  • 2 cups orange juice, pure unsweetened
  • 1 liter cranberry juice, unsweetened
  • ½ cup sugar, stevia, honey or other sweetener (to taste)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks, whole
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves

Have your children been naughty this year? Regardless of their behavior, wouldn’t these Lump of Coal Rice Krispie Treats be fun to make this year? I haven’t made this sweet treat yet, but it looks both easy and inexpensive to make at home. Plus, my kiddos love Rice Krispie treats! If you’d like to make this Christmas-themed dish as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows or 30 large marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups rice cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (leave the filling in the cookies)
  • 4 – 10 drops black gel food coloring (enough to turn the marshmallows black. The amount will depend based on the brand you use).

Like to add color to your holiday treats during Christmas? I sure do! One of my favorite tools is using Jell-O in a variety of sweet treats! I recently tried this No Fail Jello Divinity recipe and absolutely loved it. This was a bit different from the original recipe from growing up, but this was still amazing and easy to make myself. Here are the ingredients you’ll need, if making this dish yourself:

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 2 egg whites, room temperature
  • 3 tbsp Jell-O (powder)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or other flavor
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, optional

I made this remedy for my husband last week and it worked wonderfully.  As a construction worker, he gets bad shoulder pain. Long story short, he loved this homemade rub. If you’d like to make this muscle rub as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 3 oz. beeswax pastilles (or a brick, which you will need to chop up)
  • 4 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 4 tsp. sweet almond oil
  • 15 drops pure rosemary essential oil
  • 15 drops pure marjoram essential oil
  • 10 drops pure lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops pure lemongrass essential oil
  • Water
