This DIY project reminds me so much of my grandmother! She had tons of beautiful painted pots and decor around her kitchen growing up! I found this DIY Aztec Print Succulent Pots idea and just had to share, because it is almost summer! Want to make this project too?  If so, you’ll need the following:

  • Terra Cotta Pots and Saucers
  • Multi-Surface Black Paint Pen
  • White Flat/Matte Spray Paint
  • Fine/Medium Grit Drywall Sanding Sponge
  • Gold Flakes
  • Gilding Adhesive
  • All-Purpose Sealer
  • Foam Brush

Nothing says summer like strawberries and fresh greens! When I try to eat light meals during the warmer months, I love using strawberries. I recently found this Strawberry Chicken Salad With Strawberry Balsamic Dressing recipe and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve made this recipe 3 times already in the past two months.   • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
  • 4 cups romaine, chopped
  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion

  • Strawberry Balsamic Dressing:
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Need a good recipe for lunch this weekend? If so, you must try the Perfect Tuna Melt recipe. My family and I recently tried this tuna melt dish and it was so delicious. The tuna and cheese just melt in your mouth. My husband ate three of these sandwiches last week! Want to make this yummy tuna melt as well? If so, here are the ingredients you’ll need:

 

  • Tuna, 2 cans, drained
  • Onion, medium size, chopped
  • Celery, 1/2 a stalk, chopped

Have you ever purchased a bath bomb before? If not, basically it’s scented soap that dissolves in the bath water. This is an amazing product to give for birthdays or anniversaries. My husband even tried to make me one last Christmas! Want to purchase one of these products? If so, why not make your own? Here are the supplies that you’ll need to make this DIY project:

  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salts
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 2 tsp. essential oil
  • 3 tsp. oil (olive oil)
  • food coloring (any color you want)
  • bowl
  • whisk
  • jar
  • bath bomb mold

Does your husband goes through his hair gel rather quickly?! Mine sure does. In response, I searched the internet and found this DIY Natural Hair Gel with Gelatin tutorial. This tutorial is both frugal and fun to make. Want to make this hair product as well? If so, here are the supplies you’ll need:

  • Light hold: 1/2 tsp. grassfed gelatin
  • Medium hold: 3/4 tsp.  grassfed gelatin
  • Strong hold: 1 tsp.  grassfed gelatin
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Optional for fragrance – 10 drops of your favorite essential oils.
  • Glass jar
  • Optional: for additional moisture, add some vegetable glycerine or pure aloe vera gel
