DIY Wool Dryer Balls!

Want a laundry money saving tip? If so, you can make DIY Wool Dryer Balls! I started making these a month ago and have saved on the cost of dryer sheets! Plus, they do a better job of fluffing up my laundry. If you’d like to make these dryer balls as well, be sure to have the following supplies at home:

  • 1 large Skein 100% Natural Fisherman’s Wool Yarn
  • 1 pair Panty Hose
  • Optional: Crochet Hook
  • Optional: Essential Oils for Scent

PS: I was able to find most of these supplies for the wool dryer balls at my local Hobby store (minus the panty hose), so be sure to check there first.

If you’d like to try a recipe that is sure to stop that annoying spreading, then be sure to try these! Plus, they taste delicious and fill your house with an amazing sweetness!   • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest (optional)

DIY Peppermint Bath Salts!

Do you like to take baths with new bath salts? I sure do! If you’re like me, then be sure to make to make these Peppermint Bath Salts! I recently made this DIY project and these salts smell absolutely amazing! Want to make this bath salt remedy as well? If you’d like to make these salts too, be sure to pick up the following ingredients:

  • 3 cups Epsom Salt
  • 2 cups Sea Salt
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • Peppermint Oil
  • Red Food Color (optional)

PS: You can find these essential oils at Amazon or health-food stores. Not every Target or Walmart store may carry these essential oils, but keep your eye out.

I’ve made this recipe with my cookie cutters before and my kids loved them. Plus, this recipe keeps your sugar cookies soft all week. If you’d like to make these cookies as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
Buttercream Frosting
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
