Do you purchase Bumble Bee tuna? If so, there has been a recent recall on 31,579 cases of this product. The following products are: “5oz Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna in Water,” “5oz Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna in Oil,” and “4 Pack of 5oz Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna in Water.”
Please Note: there have no reports of illness associated with these products to date. However, the recall is due to potential spoilage from the products that were shipped in February. Stevia in the Raw Class Action Settlement!
Attention all Stevia users! If you purchased at least one Stevia in the Raw brand product with the phrase “natural,” “all natural” or “100% natural” between October 9, 2009, and July 1, 2014 you are eligible to obtain up to $2 for each package of the Stevia In The Raw. Keep in mind that there is a maximum cash payment of $16 per class member.
According to the settlement webpage, “Stevia in the Raw brand Consumer Products are not “natural,” “all natural” or “100% natural” and are inaccurately and deceptively labeled as so.” Therefore, they have been sued and the consumers and receiving compensation. Kohl’s Closing Some Stores This Coming June!
Another retail chain has announced it will be closing several locations throughout the U.S. Kohl’s is slated to close some of its stores in June of this year. Although not all locations have been made public, there are some that have been designated to close. How does this affect you if your store closes? Do you shop at Kohl’s?
CEO Kevin Mansell says the stores to be closed account to less than 1 percent of the company’s sales. Kohl’s has not yet announced which stores will be involved. We will provide additional information as we receive it.
