Chocolate Dipped Almond Butter Banana Bites!

Do you have picky eaters that only want sweets? Feel confident with this tasty treat knowing they are getting protein in every bite! Below you will find a very simply and short ingredient list and a complete set of instructions from A Healthy Slice Of Life! As a side note: I personally used jar almond butter that I had on hand. This also works great with peanut butter too!

Ingredients:

  • 3 large bananas
  • ⅓ cup nut butter of choice
  • ½ cup melted chocolate of choice

In the mood to make a DIY project this weekend? If so, I found this Pottery Barn Inspired Round Jute Placemats project last week. Pottery Barn can be pricey, so try making these placemats at home. These mats would look amazing under my festive holiday dishes for Thanksgiving. If you’d like to make this easy craft too, be sure to pick up the following supplies at your local craft store:

  • 3/8″ jute
  • hot glue gun

PS: I was able to find this jute material at my local Michael’s store for under $5! I plan on making this project next weekend, because its so inexpensive.

Spooky Boo Brownies Recipe!

Want to make a simple, yet delicious recipe for your upcoming Halloween party? If so, you cannot go wrong with these tasty Spooky Boo Brownies. I made this dish last week and my children loved it. Your kids will love looking at those cute ghost marshmallows as well. To make this yummy Halloween themed treat, be sure to have the following ingredients at ready at home:

  • 1 box (1 lb 6.25 oz) Betty Crocker Supreme original brownie mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 1/4 cups Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy creamy white frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • Betty Crocker™ black decorating gel (from 0.68-oz tube)

Scalloped Paper Pumpkin Project!

Want to make a different type of craft this October? If so, you have to view this Scalloped Paper Pumpkin project! The different layers make this pumpkin look absolutely adorable. I plan on making a similar craft this weekend with my kiddos. This pumpkin would look great all fall season, not just Halloween. Here are the needed supplies, if you’d like to make this ombre pumpkin decoration:

  • Pumpkin
  • Tissue paper
  • Small round object to use as a template
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Double sided tape

PS: You can use a faux or real pumpkin for this seasonal project. I plan on using a faux one from my local craft store.
