Many of us are just so busy these days. Take the kids here, take the kids there, and sometimes the last thing you want to do is leave the house and go shopping. Who wants to spend time getting the kids dressed, drag them to the store, and you still might forgot something on your list because you got distracted and trying to keep your little one from running or climbing.
Walmart understands and has made it easier to shop Walmart.com with the Walmart smartphone app! The app is available on iPhone, Android, or iPad. I have to say shopping on my phone using the app was so easy. Walmart.com offers the great variety and savings on everyday low prices that you’ve come to love at your local Walmart, especially on your favorite P&G products. I was able to purchase all the everyday items I use already like Tide Pods, Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper Mega Rolls, Mr. Clean, Bounty Select-A-Size Paper Towels, and Swiffer!
You can choose to have your purchase shipped directly to your house (shipping is free if you spend $50 or more) or shipped for free to the nearest Walmart location for a quick and easy pick-up with Site to Store. I ordered the items I needed as you can see in the picture below and I was able to pick up my order the SAME DAY at my local Walmart store. Walmart.com offers different payment options, including the option to Pay with Cash if you don’t want to use a credit card online. How great is that?!! Not everyone uses credit cards so this is really great. I also liked that I could pay with a gift card. By using the Walmart smartphone app, you can easily build a shopping list by scanning all the products you’re ready to purchase again.
I think this is such a great option plus if you are running out of say Tide Laundry Detergent then you scan the barcode with your phone and it will show up on the site for you to purchase more. How cool is that? As moms we need to use technology to help us and Walmart.com has certainly done that with this nifty little app for your smartphone or tablet.

How many times have you walked into a house to think it doesn’t smell so fresh. Naturally you are polite and you keep it to yourself but you secretly wished you could leave them with some air freshener. Many times I know I have cooked something that leaves behind a strong odor like frying food and I burn a candle but it doesn’t eliminate the odor and only covers it up. The smell still lingers after the candle is blown out. We might not smell it as it is our house and we are used to the smell like pet odors. That is called noseblindness.
I had fried up some chicken the night before the get together I had with my friends including my mom. I thought I had gotten rid of the smell but once my mom walked through the door she immediately could smell it. She asked me when I had fried the chicken which I said was the night before but it smelled like I had just fried it recently. Oh the shame.
I was excited that I was sent a box of Febreze Products to use for a little project that my guests would participate in. They knew we were going to watch a movie and pop some popcorn. You can’t watch a movie without it. They completed a very short survey and we popped the popcorn and then another short survey and then watched the movie. We all had a great time and the movie was so much fun. I love a good comedy and we love Madea and she is hilarious.
After the movie was over, the experiment was nearing the end as well. I had them take another survey and then the fun really started. Basically we do become accustomed to the scents in our home since we live with them but notice them right away when we are at another person’s house. Everyone was impressed with how well it smelled and not overpowering like so many sprays. After a few minutes, they took the final survey on how my house smelled. My house finally passed the nose test. I even asked my husband to walk into the living room/kitchen and he also commented on how clean it smelled and a fresh scent. He was in another room with the door shut. Febreze is the only air freshener I will continue to use in my house. I want the smells and odors actually eliminated and not just covered up. It’s that time of year again, where the kids are getting ready for back to school.
