Thrifty Momma Ramblings $3 CVS Shopping Trip 5/6!

I went to CVS today on 5/06 and got the following items for $3.21 with tax! I received $5 back in ECB’s!

I bought the Pantene; Colgate 2/$5; Listerine Mouthwash; and Ajax Dish Liquid. Total before coupons was $21.73.

I used the following coupons:
(2) Ajax 20 cent coupons
(2) Mouthwash $1/1 printable coupons
(1) BOGO Pantene Coupon
(2) Colgate 50 Cent off coupon
(1) CVS off any Toothpaste Coupon

I had a $3/15 CVS Purchase Share Your Pharmacy Story Coupon I printed off. I also used $8.49 ECB’s.

Final Price= $3.21!!!! Plus the $5 in ECB’s. Ok so I rolled all my ECB’s into this purchse and I lost $3.49 but I received an extra $10 ECB by purchasing 2 $25 Itunes gift cards for my husband’s birthday. I paid $40 for 2 gift cards! No tax on this purchase. You do have to spend the full $50 as you cannot use ECB’s on gift card purchases. I needed a birthday present for him, and he LOVES Itunes gift cards. It’s his favorite gift to receive. I love when CVS offers this deal. I now have $15 in ECB’s to use for next week!

Hurry Over to the Walmart Clearance!

Walmart Clearance!!!

My Walmart store is having an amazing clearance sale on toys, clothes, and so much more! I took the following pictures to share with you guys and you might want to check your store. First the toys. I found many stores marked 80% off! Tech Deck sets were marked $4 and the carrying case marked $2. There were more toys that I don’t have a clue what they are but were $2! The women and adult bike helmets were marked down to $3.xx from $25!!! I am tempted to buy another helmet for a backup at that price!

I found lots of clothing for my son and paid $21.xx with tax or all of it! Long sleeve shirts and sweat shirts were marked a $1 each! I bought him 8 tops and sweats. I found jeans for $5 each down from $18! I bought him 2 pairs of jeans. So all of the sizes were 14 and 14/16 and now he is set for this coming winter. I love shopping end of season sales that are really out of season.

I Spent $13.18 at CVS for $75.80 in Sale Items!

I had to get a rain check from the Nature Relief as the store only got a couple in and were out after the first day. They did honor my $8.99 ECB it should have printed. On Saturday I bought the Blink Tears and used my $10 off ECB from the Gillette promotion. I had the $1.oo off coupon. I bought 3 of the M&M candies so I could have a little room as they will not let you have overage. I always buy a cheap filler item. They were marked B2G1F.

My subtotal was $0.37 cents and I paid $0.87 cents in taxes for a grand total of $1.24! I got $8.99 ECB back! (total savings 15.19!)

Then on Sunday April 29th I found the Nature Relief so I grabbed it as it was the second to last on the shelf. I did two transactions.

Transaction #1

I used my rain check and bought 4 Mentos gum (99 cents each) and a filler. I had (2) coupons for $1/2 and the $1 on Nature Relief. Subtotal was $0.42 and I paid $0.82 cents in taxes for a grand total of $1.24! I got back $8.49 ECB!

Transaction #2

This is too long to list but I got the Pantene 2/$6.97; Colgate Spinbrush, Cover Girl, Colgate Toothpaste, and Dawn Dish Liquid. I had Pantene BOGO; and a good bit of coupons plus I rolled the $8.49 ECB. I could have broken it down but I had a big ECB to use so I didn’t mind paying $9.40 after taxes! I saved $30.29 plus I had $8.50 in ECB’s but several smaller ones.

Then on Monday I had to pick up my son’s prescriptions so I bought one more of the Colgate toothpaste plus 2 more Mentos gum. I had the 50 cents Colgate coupon and another $1/2 Mentos  Pure gum. I rolled the $2.50 ECB.  My subtotal was $0.98 cents and I paid $0.32 cents in taxes for a grand total of $1.30! I received a $2.50 ECB. (total savings- $5.59)

I spent a GRAND TOTAL- $13.18!!!  I bought $75.80 in sale items and I still have $8.50 in ECB’s to use!

My total savings was $62.62 which is 82% savings!!!!

My store is out of the Nivea hand cream so I’m hoping to snag 2 of those. I can use many of the purchases from Transaction #2 for the P&G Rebate Form!

How did you do this past week?
