I absolutely love trying different recipes for lunch and dinner! I recently made this Cajun Chicken And Rice meal and it was delicious. My kids loved the cheddar cheese, chicken, and spices. In fact, I plan on making this meal for my in-laws next month. Want to make this meal as well? If so, be sure to pick up the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Cajun or Creole Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups diced onions and bell peppers
  • 1 (10-oz) can Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

It is starting to get colder, which means drinking lots of hot chocolate! My absolute favorite version of this holiday drink is Mexican Hot Chocolate. I recently found a homemade recipe of this drink that I just had to share with our readers.  Plus, the slow cooker really makes your home smell wonderfully as the hot chocolate is warming. If you’d like to make this hot chocolate drink as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • bittersweet chocolate
  • cocoa powder
  •  sweetened condensed milk
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • chili powder
  • milk

Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Chicken Recipe!

Have leftover peanut butter at home? If so, you can make this delicious Slow Cooker Peanut Butter Chicken recipe! I’ve made a similar recipe to this before and its absolutely amazing. I love peanut sauce on chicken, because I am a fan of Thai food. If you’d like to make this recipe as well, be sure to have the following ingredients at home:

  • 4 large chicken breasts
  • ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 3 large garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

DIY Cinnamon Candles!

To me Fall is the best time of year to start on some great crafts and DIY’s! Fall is my favorite time of year! Here is a super easy DIY you can do in just under 15 minutes! Maybe you are short on time, if so this is perfect for you! Below you will find a list of materials and directions!

Materials:
*Vanilla Scented Candles
*Cinnamon Sticks
*Glue Gun with glue sticks
*Twine

Directions:
1. Go ahead and line up the cinnamon sticks around your candle so you know how many you will need. You might need to cut them down in size too!
2. Start on 1 side of the candle and run 2 horizontal lines of hot glue around the candle.
3. Star attaching the cinnamon sticks to the candle vertically!
4. Once they are all on there, then add some twine as a secondary secure measure to make sure they stay!
5. Let dry, this doesn’t take long!
6. Light candle and enjoy!
