Have you ever had apple butter before? If so, you must try this Peach Butter recipe. I recently made this butter with fresh peaches from my local farmers market and it was absolute bliss! If you spread this peach butter on homemade bread, it is even better. Believe me, you will not want to pass up on this recipe! Want to make this peach butter too?   • 2 lbs fresh peaches (about 7-8 good sized peaches)
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • juice of 1 lemon

Sea Breeze Bath Bombs Recipe!

Have you ever been to the Lush store? If not, they have fun bath bombs. Basically, its scenty soap that dissolves in the bath water. They’re amazing, but so expensive! So, why not make your own at home?! These make fun anniversary or birthday gifts. If you’d like to make one of these bath bombs as well, then be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of citric acid
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp lake coloring
  • 1 tbsp apricot kernel oil
  • 10-12 drops essential oil
  • Witch Hazel
  • Rubbing Alcohol

These are just some of the basic ingredients. You can add glitter or other essential oils to make your bath bomb unique. Let us know what bath bomb you’ve made and what you think of this idea.

Calling all dairy, sugar, or soy FREE bakers! I recently found a webpage that teaches you how to make your own chocolate chips. Buying these vegan chips can be expensive at grocery stores. So,why  make your own chocolate chips at home? If you’d like to make these chips yourself, be sure to have the following ingredients handy:

  • 3 Tablespoons cacao butter (or use coconut oil)
  • 6 Tablespoons cacao powder (or use cocoa powder)
  • 2 Tablespoons maple sugar crystals, (or coconut sugar crystals, maple syrup, or a few drops of Stevia)

During those summer rains, it is great to have a hot meal prepared! For my family, this Slow-Cooker White Chicken Chili dish is the best. My boys will eat bowl after bowl of this dish, which is great for picky eaters. Want to make this crock pot meal too? If so, be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 1 can (15 oz) white or great northern beans
  • 1 1/2 pounds uncooked chicken breast
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cans (11 oz) canned corn with peppers
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (4.5 oz) Old El Paso™ Green Chiles
  • Shredded Mexican cheese, optional, for garnish
  • Tortilla chips, optional, for garnish
  • Sour cream, optional, for garnish
  • Chopped green onion, optional, for garnish

Vegan Roasted Red Pepper Pasta Recipe!

I haven’t posted that many vegan meals on Thrifty Momma Ramblings. However, I recently found this Vegan Roasted Red Pepper Pasta dish, which looks absolutely delicious. I have not made this recipe yet, but it looks relatively simple to make, as well as delicious. If you’d like to make this pasta dish as well, be sure to pick up the following ingredients:

  • 2 red bell peppers (~119 g each)
  • 2-3 Tbsp (30-45 ml) olive oil
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped (~1/4 cup or 40 g)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped (2 Tbsp or 12 g)
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) Unsweetened Original Almond Breeze Almond Milk
  • 2 Tbsp (6 g) nutritional yeast
  • 1.5 Tbsp (10 g) cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • Pinch red pepper flake
  • 12 ounces (340 g) gluten free linguini or spaghetti noodles
