I just found the most adorable sweet treat for your kiddos this weekend! You must make this Cookie Monster Popcorn recipe! I haven’t made this yummy dish yet, but it looks relatively simple and inexpensive to make at home. My kids will love to make this recipe with me in the kitchen. Want to make this sweet treat as well? If so, here are the ingredients you’ll need to pick up for this popcorn:

  • 10 Cups of Popped Popcorn
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp. Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted)
  • 3 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • Mini Chips Ahoy Cookies
  • Mini Oreo Cookies
  • Wilton Candy Eyes
  • Wilton ColorRight Food Coloring System – Blue

PS: I was able to find these edible Wilton Candy Eyes in the food craft section at my local Walmart. You can find this by the other crafts and sewing section.

Do you have any shirts that you plan on donating? If so, why not make a apron with that shirt instead? Whether you are a beginner sewer or experienced, you can make this design! This looks so neat. I haven’t made this yet, but plan to this weekend. Here are the supplies you’ll need, if you plan on making this project as well:

  • Large button-down shirt with a pattern you like
  • Seam ripper
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Measuring tape
  • Coordinating fabric for waistband, 3/4 yard
  • Coordinating fabric for pockets, 1/4 yard
  • Washable marking pen
  • Fabric scissors
  • Sewing pins
  • Coordinating thread
  • 90/14 medium-weight universal sewing machine needle
  • Sewing machine

My kids absolutely love meatballs! So, I’ve recently tried other recipes that use meatballs but in different ways! Our new favorite meatball recipe is this Hawaiian Meatball & Rice dish. This meal was an instant hit with my family, because we already love Hawaiian food. If this sounds yummy for you as well, be sure to have the following ingredients at home:

  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce, divided
  • 1 pound ground round beef (85% lean)
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2-1/4 cups instant brown rice, uncooked, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 can (8 oz each) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup frozen chopped green bell pepper

Plan on having a party this weekend? If so, why not bring this Seven Layer Bean Dip Recipe! I recently tried this side dish with my husband and he ate almost the entire pan. Nothing is better than beans, cheese, and guacamole! Do you agree? If so, be sure to pick up the following ingredients for this dip:

  • 2 cans refried black beans
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • salt
  • 1 8-oz container sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 to 1/2 packet of taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar jack or mexican blend cheese
  • 1 small can of diced black olives
  • 1/4 cup ro-tel (or 1 small chopped tomato if you aren’t lazy like me!)
  • 3 chopped green onions

Fun DIY Rock Stamps!

Do your kids love to make crafts and use stamps? This is one of my daughters favorite things to do! Below you will find a list of materials and directions!

Materials:
1. Smooth Rocks
2. Foam Stickeres
3. Paper
4. Ink Pads or Paint

Directions:
1. Clean off rocks and place on foam stickers.
2. Lightly tap the stamp on ink pad or in paint.
3. Begin stamping your paper.
