With the warmer weather, I’ve been looking for some new recipes for my kids. I just found a Root Beer Slushie recipe that looks great for this time of year. I have not yet made this yummy drink, but I plan to very soon. Plus, you only need two ingredients for this icy treat idea. So frugal and fun! You will need these ingredients for this new recipe:

  • 3 Cups of A&W Root Bear (or two 12 oz bottles or cans)
  • 8 Ice Cubes

Sunflower Wreath DIY Project!

Do you enjoy sunflowers? If so, you can make this fun Sunflower Wreath! Isn’t it cute?! This would be great project for the spring or summer seasons. Don’t you think? I know that I will be making this wreath for my mom! She loves sunflowers and has them growing at her home. You will need the following:

  • 1 roll of 10″ Green Poly Burlap
  • 1 roll of 10″ Yellow Poly Burlap
  • 1 roll of 10″ brown Poly Burlap
  • 10″ Wire Wreath Frame with Yellow Chenille Stems
  • 1 sheet of Plastic Stiff Plastic Canvas
  • Beige Chenille Stems
  • 2 Zip Ties Rotary Cutter and Mat

Watermelon Lemonade Recipe! So Yummy!

Doesn’t Watermelon recipe sound refreshing? Well, it is! I made a similar recipe last summer and my kids are already asking for it again. Plus, it is easy and fun to make. My kids love helping me in the kitchen make their drinks. Want to make this as well? If so, you’ll need to pick up the following ingredients:

  • 6 cups cubed seedless watermelon, chilled (2 lbs after peeling)*
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 3/4 cup fresh strained lemon juice, chilled
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar (more or less to taste)
  • Ice and fresh mint for serving

Just use the Washi Tape as a way to categorize the Popsicle sticks. You can label them by price or by activity. If you’d like to make this yourself, you’ll need the following supplies:
