Sea Breeze Bath Bombs Recipe!

Have you ever been to the Lush store? If not, they have fun bath bombs. Basically, its scenty soap that dissolves in the bath water. They’re amazing, but so expensive! So, why not make your own at home?! These make fun anniversary or birthday gifts. If you’d like to make one of these bath bombs as well, then be sure to have the following ingredients ready:

  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of citric acid
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp lake coloring
  • 1 tbsp apricot kernel oil
  • 10-12 drops essential oil
  • Witch Hazel
  • Rubbing Alcohol

These are just some of the basic ingredients. You can add glitter or other essential oils to make your bath bomb unique. Let us know what bath bomb you’ve made and what you think of this idea.

Get Creative With This DIY Painted Flower Pots!

I love all things spring and summer! Flowers and flower pots are no exception! With the fall quickly approaching these adorable pot will keep your room sunny during the cooler months! My family and I love doing these little projects together because it brings out our creative sides!

Materials needed:
*terra cotta pots (pick your sizes)
*acrylic paint
*water sealer spray (can be found in the craft store or home improvement stores)

Directions:
This is probably the easiest part! You just take your flower pot, some paint, your imagination, and have fun! Let the paint completely dry then spray on a coat of the water sealer spray! I can’t wait to see what kind of cool creations and designs you did!

This Paper Chain Snake looks absolutely fun and easy to make. This craft would be perfect after visiting your local zoo! If you’d like to make this project as well, you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Green Card Stock
  • Yellow Card Stock
  • Scissors
  • Stapler and Staples
  • Glue
  • Googly Eyes
  • Red Balloon

PS: I was able to find all of these supplies at my local Dollar Tree, which helped me save money!

  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 10-11 drops miracle glow oil
  • 1-2 tsps. dried strawberry powder
  • 10 drops orange essential oil

DIY Rustic Twig Frame Project!

I found the most adorable frame project! You must look at this DIY Rustic Twig Frame project. This looks like such a beautiful gift idea for a birthday or anniversary. I plan on making one of these frames for my mother-in-law! Want to make one too? If so, be sure to pick up the following supplies:

  • Wooden craft frame
  • Pruning shears
  • Brown acrylic paint
  • Foam brush
  • Hot glue gun and hot glue stick (or white craft glue)
  • 40 to 50 small twigs (1/16 to 1/4 inch in diameter)
  • Decorative faux moss and flowers

PS: I was able to find the craft frame, foam brushes, and faux decorations at my local Dollar Tree!
