Mexican Horchata Recipe!

It’s December, which in my family means drinking lots of horchata! This may be my husband’s favorite holiday drink, because he loves all-things cinnamon! I recently found a homemade recipe of this drink that I just had to share with our readers. I was nervous to try making this drink myself, but it was easier than I thought. If you’d like to make this cinnamon and rice drink as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready at home:

• 1 cup of white rice
• 1 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup chopped almonds
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 1 T vanilla
• 1 Can (12 ounces) Evaporated milk
• 1 1/2 cup of milk or almond milk
• 1 L of water
• Ice

Bath Salts for Cold and Flu!

During the colder months, I always like to try different bath salts to prevent the cold and flu! This year, I tried this Bath Salts for Cold and Flu Recipe. Long story short, I loved these bath salts! Nothing is better than eucalyptus oil and vanilla. I plan on making these bath salts again and giving them to my in-laws! You must try this new recipe! Here are the supplies you’ll need:

• 1 cup Epsom salt or sea salt
• 1/2 cup baking soda
• 3 drops eucalyptus essential oil
• 8 drops vanilla extract
• Green food coloring if desired

Slow Cooker Sticky Caramel Pumpkin Cake!

Have you ever made a sweet treat in the slow cooker? If not, I would try this Slow Cooker Sticky Caramel Pumpkin Cake dish! This recipe is absolutely amazing and its great for those colder months when you want a warm pumpkin and caramel treat! I recently made this dish for my kids and they absolutely loved it. My family loves all-things pumpkin, so this recipe was a no-brainer!  If you’d like to make this yummy treat as well, be sure to pick up the following ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon
• 1⅓ cups sugar
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 4 eggs, at room temperature
• 1 can (15 oz) solid-pack pumpkin
• 1 jar (16 oz) caramel sauce or ice cream topping

Mason Jar Tissue Holder DIY!

Do you have extra mason jars at home? If so, there are tons of crafts you can make with them! I recently found this Mason Jar Tissue Holder DIY project and was inspired. I plan on making some of these tissue holders for my home, because I have tons of unused mason jars. Plus, these tissue holders look so much nicer than the paper ones. Don’t you agree? • Mason jar

• Scissors
• X-acto knife
• Scrapbook paper
• Glue stick
• Hammered bronze Rust-Oleum spray paint
• Craft Paint
• Paint brush

• Tissue
