If you live in any of the following states: AZ, CA, DC, FL, HI, KS, ME, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NY, NC, OR, TN, UT, VT, WV, and WI and have also purchased at least ONE computer with a CD drive (or separate ODD) between 2003 and 2008! You may be entitled to get a $10 check (for each computer) from this Optical Disk Drive Class Action Settlement if you are eligible! Simply complete the short form by July 1st to submit your claim. They’ll e-mail you with details at a later date with instructions on how to get your payment. This settlement is about how these manufacturers and suppliers to agreed to fix, maintain, or stabilize the prices of ODDs at artificially high levels in violation of federal and state antitrust laws.
