Need some recipe inspiration for Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17th? If so, check out this Betty Crocker Lucky Charms Cupcakes Recipe! My family loves Saint Patrick’s Day and we always celebrate with fun recipes all week long. We made this exact recipe last year and loved it!  Ingredients:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist yellow or devil’s food cake mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 container Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
  • 3 cups Lucky Charms cereal
  • Green edible glitter

The only casserole recipe you want — CINNAMON ROLL CASSEROLE!

Cinnamon Roll Casserole, could serve 6-8 with fruit or other breakfast sides.

1 loaf white bread*
3 eggs
3 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup cream
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
butter for the pie pan

1) Butter a pie pan. Then roll up each slice of bread and cut into thirds.

2) Place the rolled up pieces in the pie pan so that it’s full.

3) In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, egg yolks, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined. Pour this mixture over the rolls. Make sure that the egg batter coats every piece,evenly.

4) Bake in a water bath at 350°F for 28-30 minutes. The dish should still have plenty of jiggle to it still (like custard) but should not appear raw or liquid like. If it does, give it a few more minutes in the oven.

4) Eat! Yum!

Waffles are awesome for breakfast, but what about dinner or lunch? In our family, we love to experiment with these waffles and make delicious and unique dishes. If you’re like me and absolutely love waffles, then be sure to check out these recipes below:

Jalapeño Cheddar Waffle Melts:

  • 1 can Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Jr. Golden Layers™ refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10 biscuits)
  • 1 teaspoon Watkins™ Chili Powder
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup pickled sliced jalapeño chiles, drained
  • 1/2 cup chunky-style salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 medium green onions with tops, chopped (1/4 cup)

Pizza Waffles:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
  • 8 slices (1 oz each) mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups Muir Glen™ organic pizza sauce

Buffalo Chicken Waffles:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers original refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken, cooked, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (4 medium)

PB & J Waffle Sandwiches:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated original biscuits
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup grape jelly
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (such as strawberries, peach slices, grapes)

Waffle Bacon Cheeseburgers:

  • 2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
  • 8 slices (1 oz each) Cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked, halved

Tex-Mex Waffle Tacos:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands! flaky layers refrigerated original biscuits
  • 4 cups purchased chili, heated
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 container (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1 jar (16 oz) Old El Paso™ Thick ‘n Chunky salsa

Grands!® Jr. Honey Ham Waffle Sandwiches:

  • 1 can (12 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Jr. Golden Layers® refrigerated honey butter biscuits
  • 10 slices (2/3 oz each) Muenster cheese
  • 5 oz very thinly sliced cooked ham (from deli)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons sweet honey mustard

Sugar scrubs can be so pricey at your local stores! So, why not make your own at home? It’s simple, inexpensive, and only takes 5 mintues! My family tried this recipe below, this weekend and loved it! Ingredients:

  • ¼ c. Coconut Oil (melted)
  • ¾ – 1 c. granulated white sugar
  • 2-4 drops yellow or red food coloring depending on which batch you make
  • 10-15 drops Lemon Essential Oil or 10-15 drops Raspberry or Vanilla Extract

Four Delicious Brownie Recipes!

Have you ever ventured out in the wonderful world of brownies to see what you will find?! Today I did just that! I have complied 4 of the most delicious looking brownie recipes.  I am hopeful each one of these is lip smacking good!! I have taken the time to make sure there is something for everyone on this list! If you try one you have to let me know what you think in the comments below!!

Brookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Original Supreme Brownie mix with Hershey’s Syrup pouch
  • eggs, water and oil for brownies
  • 1 regular size Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip pre-made Cookie Dough

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix brownie mix according to directions on box.
  3. Add batter to greased 9×13 in. baking pan.
  4. Cut the cookie dough in ¼ inch slices.
  5. Place slices of dough on top of the brownies and gently wiggle them down into the brownie mix.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let them cool for 15 minutes. Slice and drizzle with Hershey’s syrup pouch and enjoy!

Incredible 3 Ingredient Nutella Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup (13 oz.) Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat an 8×8-inch (or 9×9) baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into prepared dish and smooth top with spatula.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Be careful not to over-bake, otherwise brownies will dry out. Let cool before cutting and serving.
  4. TIP: For fluffier, cake-like brownies, add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

Cookies ‘N Cream Oreo Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • eggs & oil (as called for by the brownie mix)
  • 1 heaping half cup (6 oz) Cookies & Cream ice cream
  • ¼ Cup hot fudge topping (chilled or room temp)
  • 1 pkg Oreos (regular, Double or Mega Stuffed! Your choice! :))

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to directions on the box and coat an 8×8-inch baking dish generously with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine brownie mix, eggs, and oil as directed on the back of the box, but do not add the water. Add ice cream and hot fudge to the brownie batter and stir to combine.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking dish, layer with Oreos, then top with remaining batter.
  4. Bake for 40-50 minutes or as directed on the back of the box. Do not overbake. Middle may look gooey, but will set up once the brownies cool. Let cool completely before cutting.

Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

 

Red Velvet Brownie Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick or 115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup (21g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon liquid or gel red food coloring
  • 3/4 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour (measured correctly)

Cheesecake Swirl Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (224g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Spray 8×8 baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.
  2. Make the brownie layer first. In a small bowl, beat the 2 eggs together. Set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a large microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments until melted.
  4. Stir in 1 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring, and vinegar.
  5. Mix each of those ingredients into the batter in that order.
  6. Whisk in the eggs, then fold in the flour until completely incorporated. Do not overmix.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into prepared baking pan, leaving about 3-4 Tablespoons for the top.
  8. Make the cheesecake swirl.
  9. With a hand-held mixer on medium speed, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, egg yolk, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a medium bowl until completely smooth – about 1 minute.
  10. Dollop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the prepared brownie batter.
  11. Cover with the last few Tablespoons of brownie batter.
  12. Glide a knife through the layers, creating a swirl pattern.
  13. Bake the brownies for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  14. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
