2016 did not shape up very well for some national retail store and unfortunately, 2017 isn’t going to end well for more stores! Wow, just when you think big chain stores are safe, another one is starting to close their doors! Right now JCPenney has decided to close 140 of their store nationwide, but not before they offer an “early retirement plan” to nearly 6,000 employees! Is your local store in trouble of closing too? Aeropostale plans to close 113 U.S. stores and all 41 Canada stores as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

U.S. liquidation sales are set to begin as early as May 7, while Canadian liquidation sales are set to begin the week of May 9.
