Crockpot Apple Cider Recipe!

It is starting to get colder, which means drinking lots of hot apple cider! Am I right? I recently found a homemade recipe of this drink that I just had to share with our readers.  Plus, the slow cooker really makes your home smell wonderfully as the apple cider is warming. If you’d like to make this slow cooker drink as well, be sure to have the following ingredients ready at home:

  • 4 pounds apples, chopped – any eating apple will work. I used a combination of Ambrosia and Honey Crisp for mine.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon all spice
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 orange, chopped
  • 2 quarts water

For additional directions on making this recipe, be sure to visit the Num’s The Word Webpage for more details. Let us know your thoughts in the comments. We’d love to hear from you.
