RECALL NOTICE:
I found this on the Keurig Facebook Page that Keurig Recalls 7 Million Mini Plus Brewing Systems
Keurig voluntarily recalls MINI Plus K10 brewers made before July 2014. No other models affected!
This is 7 million Mini Plus Brewing Systems, with model number K10.
The reason they are recalling this unit is because hot liquid could escape from certain MINI Plus Brewing System units during use. Keurig has determined that this event is more likely to occur if the brewer is used to brew more than two cups in quick succession.
The recalled brewers have an identification number starting with ‘‘31’’ printed on the bottom. They were sold online and in stores in the U.S. and Canada between 2009 and 2014.
Consumers are being urged to call Keurig Green Mountain Inc. of Waterbury, Vermont, at 1-844-255-7886 to arrange for free repair.
