I was recently in the doctor’s office waiting to be seen when an elderly man walked up the the reception window. It was his first time there, and the receptionist handed him a stack of paperwork to complete. He looked bewildered. He asked if he could just answer the questions to the receptionist. She told him to have a seat and work his way through the papers. He shuffled over to a chair. I was checking my email, but watched him as he sat staring into space. Just then, another patient asked, “Could I help you with that?” “What do you mean?” he answered. “I could ask you the questions and write them down for you.” she said. I thought the man was going to cry as he handed her the paperwork. As I watched her walk him through the questions, I thought, “Why didn’t I ask that question?” Someone dropped him off. He didn’t have a friend. Now he did.
Do you treasure your friends? Watching this interaction unfold made me think about how busy I get, and how I forget to tell my friends how much I treasure them.

As strange as it might sound, saying thank you. It surprises me how many people don’t say those 2 simple words. I have gone out of my way to tell people their tires are low and 90% of the time they don’t say thank you.
sent dinner over to us during a needy time.

When she told me, “You are my best friend.”
gave me flowers
The nicest thing someone did for me was when I was horribly sick during my high risk pregnancy, all of my friends and family spent their money to buy me a beautiful wedding dress and made my wedding day the most memorable one ever <3
The car in front of me paid for my drive thru order…I of course kept it going and paid for the guy behind me. It definitely brightened my morning and hopefully spread some happiness to others.
So many things, recently a friend brought me flowers .
I love amazon I would share it with my boyfriend.
My friend ended up in front of me at the drive through line at Starbucks and paid for mine. It was something small but so sweet and a very nice start to my day
Awesome!!!
Complete stranger saw me wrestling to change a tire (lug nuts were very difficult to loosen) and offered to help. Wouldn’t accept a monetary thank you, either.
